L'espresso is a specialty coffee shop on Sarajevska, a short walk from Belgrade Waterfront, built around an Italian approach to espresso. The loft style interior features exposed brick, a mural by Lazar Piljojcic and a glass floor above a lower level coworking room. Beyond espresso drinks it offers cold pressed juices, croissants, tramezzini and a small selection of Italian wines and spirits.
Balkanska 48
Hotel Beograd is a cafe and in house roastery on the corner of Balkanska and Nemanjina in Savski Venac, set in a 1930s building tied to the founders' family and the original 1937 hotel of the same name. Coffee is roasted on site under award winning barista Nenad Stojanovic, in a compact, Parisian leaning space that also bakes its own sweet bread. Despite the name it is a proper third wave cafe rather than a hotel, and it also serves cocktails and rakija.

La Casa De Caffe is a specialty coffee shop and roastery inside the Belgrade Waterfront development on Bulevar Vudroa Vilsona, close to the Galerija mall and the Sava. It runs a proper brew bar on La Marzocco and Mahlkonig gear, roasts its own beans, and offers wine and cocktails alongside the coffee. It is one of the more polished third wave addresses along the Savski Venac riverfront.

7AM is a roastery-café in a quiet Vračar courtyard, run by a team that roasts its own beans on site. The compact space features distinctive wooden amphitheater seating and serves espresso, cold brew and hand-brews alongside pastries. The owners also run barista and roasting education sessions.
Zetska 18a
April is a day and night spot tucked on Zetska between Skadarlija and Cetinjska, working as a relaxed cafe by day and a lively cocktail bar with DJ sets by night. In daytime you can settle into the leafy backyard garden over well made coffee and pastries such as croissants and pain au chocolat. It is fully non smoking, still a rarity in the area, and pulls an easygoing, creative crowd.
