1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Belgrade Life ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What Belgrade Life is
Belgrade Life is a city guide, business directory, events listing and local services marketplace for Belgrade, Serbia. We help visitors, expats and locals discover venues, read guides, find events, and connect with local service providers. We also let business owners claim, list and promote their venues and services.
3. Accounts
You need an account to save favorites, claim a venue, list a business or service, or purchase a paid plan. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a claim, application, or listing.
4. Venue, business and service listings
Anyone can browse the directory without an account. To claim an existing venue, propose a new business, or apply to list a local service, you submit information about that business, which our team reviews before it's approved and published. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion, including if we believe the information is false, misleading, or violates these Terms.
Ratings shown on venue pages are pulled live from Google and are not something we control or are responsible for.
5. Paid plans and add-ons
Business owners may purchase paid plans or one-time add-ons to unlock extra features (such as more listings, photos, discounts, or featured placement). Payments are processed by our payment provider, Polar.sh. Plans do not renew automatically by card charge — instead, we remind you in your dashboard when a payment is due, and you actively choose to pay each period. Your plan's benefits remain active only for the period you've paid for.
All fees are shown in EUR. Refunds, if any, are handled case by case — contact us at info@belgradelife.com.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about a venue, business, or service;
- Impersonate another business or person, or claim a venue you don't own or represent;
- Use the Service to send spam, harass other users or business owners, or scrape the site at scale;
- Attempt to bypass our security measures (including our anti-spam/captcha protections);
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Third-party content and services
The Service displays content and embeds from third parties, including Google (ratings, maps) and links to businesses' own websites and social media. We don't control and aren't responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of these third parties.
8. Disclaimers
The Service and all listings are provided "as is". We do our best to keep information accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that venue details, opening hours, prices, or availability are always current. Always confirm important details (like opening hours or bookings) directly with the venue or business before visiting.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Belgrade Life is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any dealings you have with businesses or service providers listed on the site.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or any listing at any time if we believe you've violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Serbia.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
