GDPR
1. Overview
This page explains your data protection rights in plain language. Belgrade Life is based in and operates under the laws of the Republic of Serbia, whose Law on Personal Data Protection closely mirrors the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We apply the same rights described below to all our users, wherever you're visiting Belgrade from.
2. Legal basis for processing
- Contract — to create your account, process a claim/application, or deliver a paid plan you've purchased.
- Consent — for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Legitimate interest — to keep the Service secure (spam/bot protection) and to respond to messages you send us.
3. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your account and personal data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to any legal obligation we have to keep certain records.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain situations.
- Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly-used format.
- Object — object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — turn off analytics cookies at any time, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it.
4. How to exercise your rights
Email us at info@belgradelife.com with your request. We aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before actioning certain requests (like deletion or access), to protect your account from unauthorized requests.
5. Complaints
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:
- In Serbia: the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti).
- If you're an EU resident: your local data protection authority.
