Makedonska 22, Beograd
A long-running cultural center at Makedonska 22, opened in 1964, with concert and cinema halls, galleries and a busy program of talks. It is a mainstay of Belgrade's alternative music and film scene and hosts festivals throughout the year. Generations have known it simply as Dom omladine.

An Art Deco exhibition pavilion built in 1928 on Little Kalemegdan, the first purpose-built art gallery in Serbia. It hosts rotating contemporary exhibitions and is the seat of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS). The building was designed by architect Branislav Kojić.

One of the oldest museums in the Balkans, founded in 1901, dedicated to the traditional culture of Serbia and the wider region. Its collection of about 150,000 items includes folk costumes, textiles, jewellery and tools, with a permanent exhibition on rural and urban life. It sits on Studentski trg in the old town.

The exhibition space of Belgrade's Natural History Museum, located in a small building at Mali Kalemegdan within the fortress park. As the museum has no permanent home, it presents rotating exhibitions drawn from about 1.5 million specimens of geology, flora and fauna. Shows typically cover minerals, fossils and Balkan wildlife.

A national museum that presents Serbian history through changing thematic exhibitions rather than a permanent display, based in the former Agrarian Bank palace on Nikola Pašić Square. It draws on a large collection covering the Serbian state, dynasties and 20th-century history. The institution also manages the residences of Prince Miloš and Princess Ljubica.
