Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress
Kalemegdan bb, 11000 Beograd
About
Kalemegdan is Belgrade's largest and most-visited park, covering around 60 hectares on the ridge where the Sava meets the Danube. It wraps around the Belgrade Fortress, layering Roman, Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian ramparts with tree-lined promenades, the Military Museum, the Belgrade Zoo, sports courts and the landmark Victor (Pobednik) monument. It is the historic core of the city and its favourite spot for walks and river panoramas.
