Serbia's first private art museum, opened in 2010 by philanthropist Madlena Zepter in a 1920s former bank building on Knez Mihailova Street. Its permanent display presents Serbian modern and contemporary art from the mid-20th century onward. The collection holds several hundred paintings and sculptures.

The exhibition space of Belgrade's Natural History Museum, located in a small building at Mali Kalemegdan within the fortress park. As the museum has no permanent home, it presents rotating exhibitions drawn from about 1.5 million specimens of geology, flora and fauna. Shows typically cover minerals, fossils and Balkan wildlife.
