About
Park Gavrila Principa is the oldest park in Belgrade, grown from the garden of Prince Miloš's residence finished in 1836 and declared the city's first public park in 1864. Called Finansijski park until 2017, the 1.95-hectare green space lies between Kneza Miloša, Nemanjina, Balkanska and Admirala Geprata streets, hemmed in by the Government of Serbia, the Ministry of Finance and the Supreme Court. It holds a monument to Prince Miloš and, since 2015, a statue of Gavrilo Princip, with Prince Miloš's 1836 hammam alongside.
